Health, learning and virtue will ensure your happiness;
they will give you a quiet conscience, private esteem and public honour.”
—Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), 3rd U.S. president

Weston has grown
phenomenally fast, as
evidenced by the demand for new schools. Arvida, the original developer of the community has provided land and resources to help build schools to keep pace with the need created
by their success.
Currently, there are seven elementary schools, two middle
schools, and one high school serving Weston area students. In spite of the large numbers of
students, achievement scores for all of Weston's public schools are consistently at the top
for Broward County, Florida, and the nation. This reputation
for academic excellence is one of the primary reasons families select
Weston as their community of choice. All public schools (listed below) in Weston have been given an "A" rating based on their FCAT scores for at least 4 years running (2004,2005,2006,2007)
