Weston has many great health and fitness alternatives. Whether cycling, rollerblading or running, miles of bike paths and treelined walkways will make for a pleasant outing. For more rigorous training, look to The GridIron Club, Lady of America, or the West Broward YMCA. For tennis your many choices include Tequesta Trace park, the Weston Athletic Club and Weston Tennis Center. Let us not forget one of the more popular Florida sports, golf. Bonaventure Country Club and the private Weston Hills Country Club offer beautifully manicured top notch courses. There are many fitness routines you can partake in year round to keep your vehicle for life in tip top running order. Get involved in a fitness routine to look and feel better. Add 20 minutes a day to your fitness routing by taking a walk or swim, and reduce your risk of heart disease and diabetes.

Not running at your optimum capacity and in need of some fixin' ?
Whether you need to fix a sore throat or broken leg, crooked teeth or crooked nose, you'll rarely need to go out of the neighborhood to find help for your medical needs. Perhaps Weston's fastest -growing industry is the medical field. In addition to numerous doctor and dentist offices, there are at least two emergency medical clinics which offer medical care during extended evening and weekend hours. The Cleveland Clinic at Weston is a state of the art new facility that opened in July 2001. Blocks away,The Weston Regional Health Park on North Commerce Parkway held its grand opening in June 2000. The new facility, part of the North Broward Hospital District, features out-patient services including urgent care services, diagnostic testing, women's, new parents' and psychological centers, laboratory and pharmacy.For children, The Miami Children's Hospital Dan Marino Center (left), located at 2900 Commerce Parkway, it is a children's neurology treatment facility for children with special needs and offers community resources such as workshops and classes. It is a great asset to Weston.
One other nearby hospital is the top rated Memorial West Hospital (shown right) in Pembroke Pines, which has modern facilities and a top notch staff.
